Baseball season is finally here. I have been waiting for baseball to start back up again. I enjoy going to baseball games especially at Chase Field. I am originally from Los Angeles so I am a Dodger fan by nature, so when the Dodges come to town I dress in blue and cheer for the Dodgers. However, I do like the Diamondbacks too, so the rest of the season I cheer on the Diamondbacks at Chase Field. My girlfriend was born and raised in Phoenix so she is a diehard Diamondback fan. When the Dodgers come to town we both get to have fun with one another. We both get in some healthy trash talking. My girlfriend and I  went to two of the three Dodger games over the weekend. I was really looking forward to Friday to watch Kershaw pitch, and Saturday for the free shirt giveaway. The game on Friday was a very well-pitched game by both teams. The Diamondbacks ended up winning on Friday night. Saturday was another good game. The Dodgers ended up winning , they had to fight off a great comeback from the Diamondbacks.

I have been to over a dozen baseball stadiums and I have to say that Chase Field is one of my all time favorite ball parks to watch a game. I love so many things about the park. I love the location of the park. The downtown locations makes for a fun place to walk around and enjoy everything the city has to offer. I love the light rail that drops you off and picks you up so close to the stadium! It is amazing, and so convenient. It is great to not have to pay for parking! I love the value prices of hotdogs and sodas(and of course the beer prices). The park is so clean and there is no bad seat to watch from. However, the best part has to be the retractable roof! Nothing beats watching a baseball game enjoying a cool 75 degrees in the middle of a Phoenix summer.

  1. You mentioned on my blog that your are originally from California and are familiar with Riverside! I see you are a Dodger fan and I am a die hard Angels fan! I have been to spring training in Arizona before to watch the Angels. I love it too! It's a great chance to meet the players. I'm just as excited as you are that baseball season is here!

  2. Baseball season is by far my favorite time of the year as well. I can't say that i share your passion for the Dodgers since I am a born and raised Diamondback! I honestly can't say I enjoy anything more then going to the park and having a few beers with my friends. By the way, the brawl with the Padres was pretty awesome.
