# 7

I spent the last few days working in the field on several geotechnical drilling jobs. I collected soil samples and mapped out the boring locations on two lots down town just off the light rail for a developer that is planning on developing two mixed use buildings with commercial on the first floor and residential above. In addition to those two jobs I got to work on a geotechnical drilling job for ASU. I just finished the geo drilling for ASU Block 12. This is going to be a brand new ASU building located between Forest Ave and College Ave on 7th street. It took me two days to finish drilling, sampling, and mapping out the locations of my borings. I am very excited to be apart of a project that is for ASU. I take great pride in my work for this project. I am excited to leave my mark on the building that will be apart of ASU for many years. I will look back in 15 or 20 years and know that I was apart of that building.

  1. Do you or your company ever work on public lands? I work for the Bureau of Land Management, and I hear the some of the terms you use in your blogs in passing through our minerals and lands departments. I find what you are writing about very interesting.
